Yoga Asanas (the postures that are practised in a yoga class) are designed to keep the body healthy and reduce stress. The postures work on the spine, muscles, organs and glands. They significantly help to increase flexibility and strength, as well as help to control the mind and aid deep relaxation. Narayani’s classes are influenced by the teaches of the Krishnamacharya Yoga and Healing Foundation and also the Sivananda Yoga Vedanta Centres and suitable for all levels. Even in group classes each individual’s needs are taken into consideration.
Classes involve asana, breathwork and sometimes use of mantra and sound.
